Each week, on the same day of each week, at roughly the same time, an Innovative Diaper Service rep will arrive at your pre-determined pick up location with your weekly supply of fresh, clean cloth diapers (and washable wipes if you so choose). Innovative Diaper Service will also pick up your soiled diapers at this time. You do not have to be home for this. •Our wash process uses minimal chemistry at extremely high temperatures in commercial washer-extractors.
The cloth diapers are then transported to our facility in Stamford, Connecticut where they are counted, sorted, and laundered.
• we use only an eco-friendly, plant based detergent with no phosphates or enzymes.
• for weekly stain-fighting, we use hydrogen peroxide (NOT chlorine) and baking soda with a distilled vinegar rinse to achieve a healthy ph balance.
• for sanitizing our water is heated to the hospital-grade temp of 170 degrees.
The cloth diapers then go into dryers which operate at a temperature of 195 degrees until fully fluffed and dried.
Your cloth diapers will arrive to you neatly stacked in a plastic pail liner or your own lined diaper bag.
